Delete your data
You can ask us to remove everything we hold about you at any time. It takes one message.
Or write to info@chatorder.co.uk in your own words. Devzenix Ltd, United Kingdom.
What happens
Tell us who you are
Send us the WhatsApp number you ordered with, or the email you signed up with. That is all we need to find your records. Use the buttons below and the message is written for you.
We check it is you
If you write from the same WhatsApp number or email, that is enough. If you write from somewhere else, we may ask one question to confirm before we delete anything.
We delete your data
Your name, number, addresses, conversations and the preferences the assistant remembered are removed. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as the record that a paid order happened, without your personal details attached.
We confirm
You get a reply confirming it is done. We do this within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.
What we may hold
If you ordered from a restaurant on WhatsApp
- your WhatsApp number
- your name and delivery address, if you gave them
- your orders
- your conversations with the assistant
- preferences the assistant remembered, such as an allergy or your usual order (kept 90 days from your last order anyway)
If you run a business on ChatOrder
- your account details and a hashed password
- your business details, menu and settings
- your orders and customer records
- your team members' logins
Closing a business account deletes all of this after 30 days. Ask first if you want an export to keep.
We never hold card numbers; Stripe does. We do not track your location. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
If you used Instagram
Some restaurants connect their Instagram account to ChatOrder. If you remove the ChatOrder app from your Instagram or Facebook settings, Meta sends us a deletion request automatically and we act on it the same way. You can also just message us.
